Competition SENSE-GARDEN

Evangelos Kalos (Wellbeing Photography) had the pleasure to coordinate the meaningful Competition of SENSE-GARDEN. The competition and exhibition aimed at creating public awareness on the possibilities technology offers today to the treatment of dementia, providing substantial help to those living with the condition and also to the ones caring for them.

The jury, composed by Evangelos Kalos (Wellbeing Photography facilitator), Matteo Di Capua (Creative Director at Headspin) and Petter Andreas Jørgensen (Visual artist). The evaluation process was anonymous and the jury decided on the following winners:
1st place "Untitled 1" Cheong Hye Sophia, 2nd place", Silver Vase" Nicola Lolli, 3rd place "Connected" Thea Kiær.

Special Jury Selection - in addition to the 3 first awards, 7 artworks were also considered exceptional. These were (by no specific order): "Disappearing!" Frank Foss, "Løvinnen" Aase Duun, "Trapped in the past" EliKFoto, "Portrait" CheongHye Sophia, "Bade i stjernestøv" Aase Duun, "Untitled" Annette Five Wefring, "Untitled 2" CheongHye Sophia.

The project realised by the SENSE-GARDEN Association, with the scientific and financial support of IMRO-Lab and NTNU Health, in collaboration with Wellbeing Phtography, AKRON Gallery and DECENTRALAND/SciArt Lab, is offering artists from the Trøndelag county the opportunity to exhibit in the virtual SENSE-GARDEN space.
