The Sorrento Project

A friendship that began 30 years ago has led to the creation of unique artworks. The photography project presents both their creations and moments from the artists' lives in the atelier. The photographs share an important message about friendship, reuse, and recycling.

Vincenzo Greco and Paolo Massa met 30 years ago. For the past 20 years, they have reused old wheelchair tyres to create art. The photos show how discarded items can become creative works, supporting sustainable living and environmental care.

The project have not a commercial purpose and the photos where presented through a dedicated exhibition in AKRON Gallery (Trondheim, Norway). Project´s only purpose is to share Vincenzo and Paolo’s message with the world. The photos were not for sale and after the exhibition, they were sent to Vincenzo and Paolo.

Many thanks to CEWE JapanPhoto Trondheim for supporting the project and the exhibition. Volunteer work by Photographer Evangelos Kalos and assistant Tania Bracchi.
